The Morton Pumpkin Festival offers a variety of unique food venues to cater to our visitors. The Pumpkin Grille, sponsored by Sam Leman Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge, and the Pumpkin Sweet Shoppe, sponsored by Heartland Bank, are located on the Main Pumpkin Festival Grounds and staffed by local volunteers who are eager to serve delicious, home-made foods made with Libby’s Pumpkin to festival goers. The menus include everything from pumpkin chili, baked beans, and pasta salad to pumpkin ice cream, shakes, cheesecake, cookies, and Libby’s pumpkin pie.
In the Carnival Midway, you can enjoy traditional carnival foods including corn dogs, funnel cakes, pizza, and lemon shake-ups. Don’t forget to stop by Uncle Bud’s for the best apple cider slushies in the Midwest. His trailer is one of the most popular stops at the Morton Pumpkin Festival.
Stop by the Pumpkin Craft Faire for some great shopping and a taste of the Morton Pumpkin Festival. This year, the Main Street Deli’s outdoor grill will offer our famous festival pork chop sandwiches and pumpkin ice cream cups. The Faire also features a variety of snack vendors with everything from kettle corn to roasted nuts.
Can’t make it to the festival grounds? You can still grab some grub on the go at Pumpkin to Go, our festival food drive thru. Lead by the Morton Youth Baseball Association, this popular option is open Thursday – Saturday and offers many of our popular food items.
