The Morton Pumpkin Festival will be bringing fun new acts and musicians performing the sounds from across the pond in celebration of this year’s Celtic “Luck O’ the Pumpkins” theme.

Wednesday: This year’s opening night headliner is Peoria’s own Bogside Zukes, a trio performing Irish music accompanied by dancers with the Flynn School of Irish Dance.

Thursday: Crowd favorite the Central Illinois Banjo Club will be performing for the Senior Appreciation Day festivities followed by solo sets from Morton’s own Clair Huette and former Pumpkin Princess Pageant contestant Olivia Vicaray, and the night will end with New Odyssey Guy, a high energy one-man show.

Friday: Past Miss Morton pageant contestant Kadee Allenbaugh will begin the evening and American English, a renowned Beatles tribute that shows audiences a window into the past of the most iconic and influential band in the history of music.

Saturday: Gospel singer Kathy Rauch and local artist Leah Getz will provide entertainment for the Pumpkin Pancake Breakfast. Irish band Turas will kick off the post-parade music, followed by the Flynn School of Irish Dance. Morton’s favorite big band Jim Markum Swing Band will also perform and Cousin Eddie will close this year’s Festival.

The 2019 Morton Pumpkin Festival “Luck O’ the Pumpkins” will be Wednesday, September 11 - Saturday, September 14. The Morton Pumpkin Festival generates resources to allow the Morton Chamber of Commerce to fulfill their mission to strengthen business and enhance community, at a superior level, through the implementation of a unique event that builds a sense of community among the people who live and work in Morton.
