Order Your Festival License Plates Now!

Apr 2, 2013

The Morton Tourism Association, in partnership with the Morton Chamber of Commerce, is selling special event plates which can be displayed from July 11 to Sept. 15 for $25 a set.  The Tourism Association has a listing of plate numbers from 2012, so reserve your number ASAP as remaining numbers will be distributed on a first come first served basis.  Numbers are limited this year!

You will need to complete the order form and submit a copy of your current registration to the MTA.  If your plate is going to expire before September 2013, you should submit your form and payment for the plates and then turn the CURRENT registration form in after you have renewed your plates. Before receiving your Pumpkin Festival plates for 2013, the State requires that they have in their possession and entered into their system a copy of your CURRENT registration form.  We will need to have your CURRENT registration form no later than June 15.

Current Registration is defined as:  If your sticker expires between January and August 2013, it must be renewed for 2013 to be current.  You have two full months prior to expiration to renew by stopping at Norma’s Fast License Service (110 Detroit Parkway), Heartland Bank, any Morton Community Bank location or any State of Illinois Driver’s License Office.  Do not mail it because it will most likely not be returned in time to order these plates.

Forms are available at Grimm’s Inc., Morton Community Bank (North Main Street), Heartland Bank (both Branches), and online at www.mortonmagnet.com. If you have questions, call 573-1276. All proceeds from the sale of the plates will be used for the MTA’s community projects.
