Judging & Critique
Judging is from 4:00-6:45 pm on Saturday, September 7th. This is a closed judging. Ribbons will be hung at that time. There will be a critique at 7 pm following the judging. The critique is open to the public. 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Best of Show will be critiqued.
The following are guidelines for each division. Entrants will place themselves in whichever category they feel best describes them. However, if an entrant in the amateur division wins 3 cash awards in the Morton Photography Show exhibits, that entrant must move into the Professional category. No person holding a degree in photography may at any time participate as an amateur.
Entries will be judged on quality of the print, composition, interest, and overall presentation. Photoshop will not be a category nor will it be a criteria for judging.
