Calling all rock stars in training!  Have you dreamed of being the next American Idol?  Showcase your talent this year at the Morton Pumpkin Festival by participating in our Pumpkin Idol singing competition for ages 14-18 as of the date of the final performance.  The competition begins several weeks prior to the festival, with two preliminary rounds.  Preliminary rounds are for feedback to contestants only.  No contestant will be eliminated prior to the final performance.  Contestants will be singing to our festival crowds during the final performance on the Gold's Gym Entertainment Stage. 

The winner of Pumpkin Idol receives $250 and the chance to perform at next year's Morton Pumpkin Festival!

2013 Information

We are only able to take 12 contestants for this exciting festival experience, so register soon!  Contestants must be ages 14-18 as of the date of the final performance on September 13, 2013.

The cost to participate is $25 per contestant.

Contestants must bring background music on a CD for the competition.
The winner of the competition will receive a Chamber Check for $250, which can be used at any Morton Chamber of Commerce business.
