Visitor Services and Guidelines

Our goal at the Morton Pumpkin Festival is to make sure all of our guests have the best possible festival experience in a safe and secure setting.  Please use the following information as you plan your visit.

First Aid
The Morton Paramedics have a first aid station located near PNC Bank, on the corner of Jefferson Street and First Avenue, for minor bumps and bruises.

Lost Children
If you have a lost child, please report it immediately to any member of our Festival Staff Team or Venue Chairmen.  The Pumpkin Store, located next to the Pumpkin Business Expo on the Main Festival Grounds, is a main reporting location.  You can also contact our police department at 309-266-6666.

Little Pumpkin Nursing and Changing Station
The Little Pumpkin Nursing and Changing Station is located on the Main Festival Grounds near the Pumpkin Store.  This special tent has a changing table and two rocking chairs to support the needs of young families.

Lost and Found
All lost items collected at the Morton Pumpkin Festival are taken to the Pumpkin Store, located next to the Pumpkin Business Expo on the Main Festival Grounds.  Items are held for 2 weeks following the festival at the Morton Chamber of Commerce office.

Pets
Pets are not permitted at the Morton Pumpkin Festival.

Emergency Shelters
In the case of an emergency, festival volunteers, guests, vendors, and workers can take shelter in the following buildings located near the festival main grounds:
Apostolic Christian Church:  225 East Jefferson Street
Jefferson Elementary School:  220 East Jefferson Street
The Savory House Building:  149 South Main Street
