The Pumpkin Princess Pageant is a unique opportunity for five and six year old girls to participate in a fun, magical pageant experience. Contestants light up the stage on Wednesday evening of Festival, showcasing their costume and talent. The princesses will ride in the Pumpkin Carriage in both of our Festival parades!

*must be no younger than 5 and no older than 6 by the Pageant date.

NOTE: no girls may compete two years in a row.

2020 Details

Recording Date: Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at 6:00 PM
Broadcast Date: Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 6:30 PM

Registration for the 2020 drawing will be open Thursday, July 16 at 8:00 AM through Monday, July 20 at 5:00 PM

The Pumpkin Princess Pageant is limited to 10 contestants. Participants will be drawn from all registrants on Wednesday, July 22 at 4:00 PM. To be eligible, contestants must be either 5 or 6 years old on the date of the Pumpkin Princess Pageant (Wednesday, September 16) and must be a resident of Morton or attend a Morton school. Girls who participated last year will not be eligible for this year’s event. If drawn to participate, there is a $35 fee per contestant. 

Important Dates:

Parent meeting (Zoom) – Monday, July 27 at 5:30 PM
Princess Court Individual Photo Sessions: Tuesday, July 28 from 4:00 – 5:00 PM

Girls will be asked to practice their talents individually for this year’s Pageant. There will be no dances nor group dance rehearsals for this year. 

Pageant will be recorded on Tuesday, September 1st with full costume and talents. Attendees will be limited to two per contestant. Interview portion will take place that same evening.
