Join us Saturday September 16, as we close out the 2023 Morton Pumpkin Festival by highlighting local talent! Pumpkin’s Got Talent is a community talent show open to all ages!

Prizes:
1st Place Individuals: $100 in Chamber Checks
1st Place Group: $100 in Chamber Checks
People’s Choice Award Winner: $150 in Chamber Checks

Information:
Auditions are not required, but participation approval will simply be first come first serve. We are no longer requiring a registration fee to sign up.

If registration states the competition is full, please call the Morton Chamber of Commerce at (309) 263-2491 or email info@mortonillinois.org to be added to the waitlist.

Participants will have no more than 3 minutes to perform.

Participants are NOT required to theme their performance to the 2023 Morton Pumpkin Festival Theme.

They will also need to bring a CD with their name and song titles written on them. CDs should be brought to the Morton Chamber of Commerce by Friday, September 1st.

Groups:
There will NOT be different age categories. Contestants will compete based on individuals and groups.

Judging:
There will be a 1st place winner chosen for each of the following categories:
-Individuals
-Groups
-People’s Choice: the audience will vote via an online poll. 

Participants will be scored for:
1) Appearance: Costume
2) Stage Presence
3) Originality & Creativity
4) Crowd Interaction
5) Bonus: Props

Guidelines:

  • No profanity or insensitive subject matter
  • Costumes must be appropriate
  • No electronic or moving props
  • All acts MUST be performed on stage

The Morton Chamber of Commerce staff reserves the right to decline any act they view as unsafe or not family-friendly.
