Visitor Services and Guidelines

Our goal at the Morton Pumpkin Festival is to make sure all of our guests have the best possible festival experience in a safe and secure setting.  Please use the following information as you plan your visit.

Information Tent
The Morton Public Library hosts our Pumpkin Festival Information Tent on Festival grounds, just west of the Business Expo. It’s orange: you can’t miss it! Stop by with any Festival questions you may have and speak with one of our friendly local library staff members. 

First Aid
The Morton Paramedics have a first aid station located near PNC Bank, on the corner of Jefferson Street and First Avenue, for minor bumps and bruises.

Lost Children
If you have a lost child, please report it immediately to any member of our Festival Staff Team or Venue Chairmen.  The Pumpkin Festival Information Tent just west of the Business Expo, is a main reporting location.  You can also contact our police department at 309-266-6666. 

Little Pumpkin Nursing and Changing Station
The Little Pumpkin Nursing and Changing Station is located on the Festival grounds behind the Sweet Shop off Adams Street.  This special tent has a changing table and two rocking chairs to support the needs of young families. 

Lost and Found
All lost items collected at the Morton Pumpkin Festival are taken to the Pumpkin Festival Information Tent, located just west of the Business Expo.  Items are held for 2 weeks following the Festival at the Morton Chamber of Commerce office. 

Pets are not permitted at the Morton Pumpkin Festival.

Emergency Shelters
In the case of an emergency, Festival volunteers, guests, vendors, and workers can take shelter in the following buildings located near Festival grounds:
Jefferson Elementary School:  220 East Jefferson Street
